Going Potty Make and Create a small platter, bowl and spoon (1)
Inspiring workshop that will embrace your creative side using clay. Make a small platter (approx 20-22cm) perfect for cheese, dipping/Dukkah bowl and spoon. Slump, shape, emboss, paint. Work will be taken away for the two firings. Returned to you approx. 6-8 weeks. All inclusive with refreshments.

About the Event
Experience the meditative and creative process of hand building pottery. The 4 hour class will incorporate basic hand building techniques in slab formation and rolling; Imprinting surfaces onto clay structures;Cutting shapes;Slumping clay to form curve on wall design;Surface colouring with underglaze;The pieces to be bisque and glaze fired with a choice of colours by the facilitator. WHAT TO BRING: Casual comfotable clothes (they may get messy);Enclosed shoes;Apron for protection;Small towel for hand washing;Botanical specimen to imprint with and or impressible icon that can be used as a stamp. EG brooch, shells, anything with an interesting texture. We also have on hand a wide variety of stamps, roller stamps etc for you to use. Please choose the workshop carefully, as if you cannot attend on the day it is your responsibilty to find a replacement.
