About the Event

The workshop cost will cover one straw hat open blocked in your size with a cotton sweat band pre-stitched in by Myia. You will be able to shape the crown and brim of your hat to suit your particular style and then be able to create away using an array of different textiles provided. You are also welcome to bring any fabric you have laying around, old jewellery or anything else you think would contribute to your creation.

What you need to do: Let us know your hat size as soon as you can. You can do this by measuring around the circumference of your head in centimetres with a sewing measuring tape. Make sure it’s accurate by comparing it with a ruler. You can also check out YouTube on how to measure. Or if you have an existing hat the size measurement will be the same. Especially if an Akubra. Pack a pair of scissors and hot foot it to the farm! Complimentary refreshments also included.
